Case Study: GAIN Spain WASH Training

SCOPE:

Since the establishment of the Spain branch of the Global Aid Network (GAIN) in 2011, Koom Consulting has provided on-going technical consulting services and has collaborated very closely with the NGO in the training and capacity-building of local volunteers and staff members, as well as those from affiliate organisations overseas. 

Projects have primarily focused on WASH (Water Sanitation and Hygiene) and drinking water quality control in the context of humanitarian aid and international development. Through this partnership, GAIN-Spain now has an established team of water management specialists who are currently playing active roles in WASH projects in Haiti, Benin, the Greek Island of Lesbos and beyond.
